About this view

What you see and why: These are the source websites, retained original remarks and information about the local external-link cache.

How to read it: Open a source link to inspect its evidence. A cached copy may be older than the live page; a failed download does not mean that the source contains no data.

Minor Planet Center previous designations

MPC previous NEOCP designations is the authoritative archive used to relate NEOCP temporary identifiers to subsequent designations and outcome remarks.

Bill Gray's artificial-object list

Artsats removed from NEOCP adds artificial-object identifications, alias chains, orbital clues, uncertainty notes, and links to supporting material.

NEOCP Junk discussion archive

The original Yahoo group link is retained as historical provenance. The service may no longer expose the old group, but the failed or redirected response remains recorded in the cache manifest.

Find_Orb

Find_Orb can ingest the complete MPC-format observation text for orbit determination.

Original remarks

Observations may be incomplete and are reverse-sorted after publication. Objects before 2018 Jan 13.73 UT are unavailable. The legacy program warns that pre-2019 results can occasionally contain observations belonging to another object because old Windows file handling did not distinguish case.

External cache

All HTTP(S) links discovered on the retained reference and Project Pluto page were requested into the project-local cache. The manifest records successful files, redirects, failures, sizes, and SHA-256 checksums.

Processing

Source retrieval, database processing and website generation are separate steps. Internal command details remain local.
